Ramsau am Dachstein is located on a high plateau above the Enns Valley and offers a wide and varied range of hiking trails. Whether for families or demanding hikers, there is something for everyone. Some hiking destinations can be reached directly from our Pension Rötelstein. The bus stop of the hiking bus Ramsau-Filzmoos is located at our parking lot.

Here in the Dachstein region there are countless via ferratas in all difficulty levels. Whether high up on the south side of the Dachstein or near the valley in Silberkarklamm everyone can find a suitable climbing trail. For junior climbers there are children's via ferratas.

The adventure mountain Rittisberg offers a wide range of leisure activities including a bathing lake, summer toboggan run, forest high ropes course, flyline, archery, Segway, Rittisberg Golf and fairy tale hiking trail

The Dachstein is with 2995m the highest mountain of Styria and Upper Austria. At the top station of the cable car there are  attractions such as a suspension bridge, the staircase to nowhere, the Sky Walk and the Ice Palace. The Glacier Restaurant offers special experiences with sunrise breakfast and sunset dinner.
