Take a vacation here in the winter paradise. Whether romantic or athlete, the impressive Ramsau winter landscape captivates everyone. The Schladming-Dachstein holiday region offers a variety of activities in the snow: numerous kilometers of pistes for skiing as well as trails for cross-country skiing, sledding, horse drawn sleigh rides and much more.

The ski bus stops right in front of our Pension Rötelstein and brings you to Rittisberg and the 4-mountain ski area with Hauser Kaibling - Planai - Hochwurzen - Reiteralm.

Rittisberg is located on the sunny plateau Ramsau am Dachstein and is ideal for families with children, beginners and seniors.

Ramsau am Dachstein is known as a cross-country ski resort. The cross-country network covers the whole town and offers up to 220km of cross-country trails of varying difficulty. Our Pension Rötelstein is directly connected to the Hierzegg trail.

On 70 km of winter hiking trails you can explore on foot the breathtaking winter landscape of Ramsau.

With a sleigh ride you can enjoy the Ramsauer winter landscape in a romantic way. The paths are prepared and lead up to 40 km through Ramsau am Dachstein away from roads. Of course, a horse-drawn sleigh ride also offers the opportunity to halt in between at rustic farmhouses and alpine huts.

At Hochwurzen is a 7 km long natural sledding trail, one of the longest in the Alps. It can be sledged both during the day and at night.

At Rittisberg there is the possibility for sledding at night 3 times a week. The sledding trail is a natural sledding trail with a length of 3.5 km.
